About Us
Our Story: A Personalized Path to Self-Care
Our journey began when our mother, Earline, planted the seed of chemistry cosmetics in 1986, which lay dormant until 2019, when her constant battle with fragrance allergies began to take its toll on her health. After being exposed to perfumes or heavily scented lotion, our mom would spend days, up to a week, with impaired vision, brain fog, and vertigo. As a result, she lost precious time spent with her family and friends, missing out on lifelong memories. She was miserable!
Our mom did notice that whenever she used a lotion or body butter that contained Essential Oils, she did not experience the negative impacts on her body and mind as she had in the past. Our mom found using naturally-scented lotion and body butters liberating; therefore, our purpose became obvious: to develop a synthetic fragrance-free body butter or cream with naturally-derived ingredients that included Essential Oils if desired. This challenge ignited our motivation and fueled our passion for creating Momma E’s, LLC, where we specialize in handcrafted customizable body butter. We believe self-care should be a truly personal experience, and we're here to make it happen!
